Save Habeas ACLU Demonstration Day (Washington DC and all over the US). Find Habeas Action Center. Greater Tampa ACLU Needed: An ACLU supporter to be inside a Statue of Liberty costume, individuals to walk about the park with wearing a sandwich boards that will say, “Why is Liberty in Chains?”, and need people to staff an ACLU table and hand out information.
Lykes Park is also known as Gaslight Park; it’s the 1-block park between Tampa and Franklin St., and Madison and Kennedy; right near the police department’s main offices. It gets a pretty good amount of traffic during the lunch hour.
