Over 200 Hillsborough County Democrats met to elect a new party Chair, Michael Steinberg, and Vice Chair, Pat Kemp. It was SRO on January 22, 2008 as exuberant Democrats held the election at the Children's Board auditorium in Ybor City.
Steinberg and Kemp were immediately sworn in by Tampa City Council Member, Mary Mulhern.
