Largo. Four candidates for the City Commission are seeking to either keep their position on the dais, or replace Commissioner Gay Gentry, who has chosen not to seek re-election.

Voters in the city of Sarasota will consider whether to support a $16 million bond referendum to help finance the renovation of Ed Smith Stadium.Both Manatee and Sarasota counties stand to lose the economic impact of millions of dollars and 80 years of baseball tradition if the Cincinnati Reds decide to move spring training elsewhere.

Bradenton Beach, voters will choose a mayor.

Voters in Venice will pick a mayor and two City Council members.
